Gov. Doug Ducey shared on Twitter today a letter from Arizona mayors, approving of his recent tax plan. Gov. Ducey issued a press release last week explaining the tax cut and how it would benefit small businesses and help Arizona remain competitive with surrounding states. He emphasized that the plan will cut taxes for small businesses, eliminate all state income taxes for veterans, and keep the state budget balanced.
Ducey stated, “NOW: Arizona mayors understand the importance of a growing, booming economy. More jobs and more people means a thriving Arizona! We are pleased to have mayors across the state supporting the state’s budget package. Thank you, to these local leaders!”
