Paul Gosar calls out Joe Biden and his absence at the border

Congressman Paul Gosar issued a statement after launching a new countdown clock on his official website.  The clock shows how many days it’s been since President Joe Biden has visited the border. Governor Doug Ducey recently declared an emergency at the border and sent in the Arizona National Guard to help border security, providing $25 million in initial funding for the mission. In a show of bipartisan support, Senators Mark Kelly and Kyrsten Sinema recently called on the Biden administration to address the crisis at the border.

Gosar stated, “This week will mark the 100th day of the Biden Administration, yet Mr. Biden refuses to visit the southern border to see first-hand the crisis his open border policies have created.  Where is Joe Biden? What is he hiding from? I’ve invited him to the border TWICE. He has not accepted. With each passing day, the health, security, and humanitarian crisis grows worse as the surge in illegal aliens trying to enter the country still rages. In fact, it appears to be getting worse because the Administration refuses to take action to address it. It is a complete failure of leadership.”

“I added the Biden-created border crisis countdown clock to my website so every American will know how many days have passed with no visit to the southern border by Mr. Biden. How many more days must pass before Mr. Biden visits the border to see the crisis?” concluded Rep. Paul Gosar.

Attorney General Mark Brnovich recently sued the Biden administration over what he calls “environmentally disruptive” decisions to halt border wall construction and change immigration policies. The lawsuit claims the reversals of previous border policies violate the National Environmental Protection Act.
